This is the video that my group made to explain “what is it teacher identity” for us. In the process of discover what “teacher identity” is, we realized that it is what we do; this means that the identity of a teacher is created by their actions. Therefore, it is essential that teachers do what they speak, in order to be coherent with their identity. In addition to this, it is also important that teachers reflect on what they consider relevant about their profession, and get into a continuous inquiry about the goals they want to achieve towards students. Do you want to help students to learn? Do you want to educate them? What do you want to reach when you teach? I believe, these questions are deep and essential to be aware about your identity as a teacher.
